Service Description

Is your back cranky? Are you tired of living with daily back pain? Searching for something to make it go away? This 4 week program will address the how, why, and what of persistent back pain. Looking at starting from square one and building not only movement & strength that will help support cranky backs, but also the nervous system's involvement and how we can change a few habits to build our path back to wellness. This is Level 1. If you have taken a course with me before, and have been practising what you learned there, then head over to Level 2. If you are starting from scratch or feel like you could use a refresher, this is the starting place for you! This 4 week program will include four 60 minute classes in a small group (max 3 for this session) as well as a video library access to the Calming Your Nervous System videos (7 in total) and a workbook that we'll be discussing in class. In class we will be working with Critical Alignment Therapy exercises to find some ease in the small movements that help to build strength & awareness into tight muscles and sore joints. We will be laying on the floor and working on our breath, as well using yoga props to connect to relaxation of the body & mind. We will also be talking about pain science and looking at different ways to incorporate this learning into our daily lives. If you have been experiencing back pain for longer than 3 months and are willing to do some work to reduce your daily pain levels, this is the program for you!

No charge cancellation is available up to 4 hours prior to appointment. Please note, if there are several early cancels in a row, we'll have to have a discussion if we are the best fit for each other. *3 days cancellation required for a class series.
